Like many things in life, I missed "Dirty Dancing" as a kid, and saw it for the first time between the summer of my junior and senior year, when I was staying with my best friend from college at her family's beach house. I'm not entirely sorry I saw it as late as I did, though (although with my friend's wonderful, wonderful mother repeatedly noting that she'd forgotten the movie was so
sexy might not have been the ideal circumstances for a first viewing). In any case, G.D. from
