It's not often that I get to endorse awesome pop cultural things that my friends are doing, since, um, I work in Washington, DC, and most of my buddies are policy wonks. But on Friday, at 9pm or thereabouts, I'll be taking my skinny-jeans-and-vintage-bekicked self over to the Backstage at the Black Cat to see DJ Stylus spin old-school hip-hop with DJ Dredd.
